Prayer & Worship
“Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the Lord in the splendour of holiness”
1 Chronicles 16:28-29
We aim for prayer and worship to be at the foundation of all we do. Here are a few ways that you can request prayer:
Please allow us the honour of praying for you. There is a large group within the congregation who has committed to praying for all requests sent through this email chain. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you would like to receive prayer in person and are able, please come to our pre-service prayer on Sunday morning from 9:30-9:50am. If you are unable to come, there is a possibility we can visit you or arrange a phone/online call. Please contact the church office for more information.
There are prayer cards located at the back of the sanctuary that you can fill out and drop into a collection box. You can mark these prayer requests as especially confidential so that only one person sees and prays for your request, or you can indicate that the entire email prayer group can pray for you.
Here is how you can get involved in praying and worshiping:
We gather at 9:30am on Sundays to pray for the upcoming service, our church family, and the greater community.
Online prayer group
On the first three Wednesdays of every month, a few of us gather to pray for each other, the community, and the country via Zoom. If you are interested in joining, please contact the office for more information.
Praise and prayer night
On the fourth Wednesday of each month we gather in the sanctuary at 7:00pm for an evening of prayer and worship.
